When the Defiant Soul was compared to the Edge and Defiant in testing Roto Grip found that the Defiant Soul read 19 percent more midlane than the Defiant Edge. They both have the same core but the newer Defiant Soul is a great combination of the best features of the solid and pearl. This ball is a great in-between giving you more length than the Defiant but less length than the Defiant Edge making this ball a little more versatile.
