The EZ Bowler™, your practice bowling ball, can be used to give you the fundamentals to achieve many different techniques. In addition, it allows you to practice daily when you can't go to the bowling alley. Practice is key to better scores.
There are three major factors in the art of bowling. All three factors are interdependent upon each other. These different aspects are the physical game, the science of the game, and the mental game. Think of it as a pyramid.
To get to the top of the pyramid (success) you must build the physical game (the base of your pyramid). Then you can move on to the science of bowling. After you have mastered the physical game and the science of bowling, you can develop a firm mental game. Please keep in mind that the best bowler is not necessarily the bowler with the highest scores, but the one who is enjoying it the most!
EZ Bowler ranks among your most valuable bowling accessories to help you understand the physics of bowling.
To use your EZ Bowler, you need a little space which we will call the practice area, which we explain more below. This could be at home, inside or out, or even at the office! Practice just five minutes a day and learn better technique while committing your shot-making abilities to muscle memory.
Great for Advanced Bowlers! Improve League Play! Bowl like a Pro! Great for Beginners! Reinforces "Muscle-Memory" for Proper Technique!
The EZ Bowler is a great tool for improving different aspects of your game. It is said that it can take as many as 50 games to break muscle memory and then commit new form to muscle memory.
To improve your back swing: Watch your back swing in a mirror using your EZ Bowler. Don't think about this - you want to see your natural back swing. Analyze your hand position at the top of your back swing. Your hand should be behind the ball. If your hand is off to the side this will cause a slight swing in your delivery.
Exercise: In a mirror watch your delivery in slow motion making sure to keep your hand under and behind the ball. Freeze your arm position at the top of the back swing making double sure your hand stays in the correct position. Repeat this, gradually increasing your speed until you reach a natural rhythm. Repeat this exercise daily over the course of a week. You can then apply your new found skills on the lanes. Advanced skill. Repeat the above exercise. At the top of your back swing let your hand roll a little to the inside of the ball (hand towards your body) this will give you greater ball rotation at your release. Practice both back swings until you master them both.
