The shift is the second best ball by storm,It hits the pins hard.I would recomend getting one if I was you.I carry a 228 average, my ave. is going to go up because of the shift. the ball works great on synthetic lanes.

After breaking the coverstock in on changing the layout on this ball it works beautiful. I have the ball drilled pin above & slightly right of ring finger (right hand), with Key (M.B.) slightly right & even w/bottom of thumb hole. A balance hole on P A L slightly above center of gravity. This layout works great for me on fresh medium oiled house lanes with a tight inside line to the pocket. As lanes wear down I just move a couple more boards in & I am still lined up w/my normal release. I have played around with more hand I can make this ball crank also. I had a more aggressive layout initially but couldn't control the backend because I wasn't always consistant w/my release. But this ball shreads the rack like no other ball I've had. Great Job & Bowl up a Storm!!
