I purchased this ball for my son. He is just starting out this year. We joined a league and I supplied him with a packaged deal. A beginners ball with the bag and shoes. Once the instructions and understanding the techniques were reached, it was time for a new ball. Frustration was very evident on my son's face with the ball he was using. I ran a specs check on the net for the type of ball he should be using and I was directed to this one.This ball like the other storm balls has great hitting power. On the occasions when my son does hit the pocket a loud crack from ball contact with the wood fills the alley. He still is learning and is less frustrated than before. This ball does what it is designed to do.
