Bowlerstore.com Presents the Brunswick Evil Siege Bowling Ball Reaction Video

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Propel Pearl is an evolutionary coverstock developed by Brunswick to improve the mid-lane and backend traction of the ball on today’s slicker oils and lane surfaces. The Propel Pearl coverstock was discovered through testing of new formulation additives and process changes in coverstock manufacturing.

Mechanical Asymmetric Core Engineering. The MACE core has three major benefits: ultra-low RG core system to engage the Propel Pearl coverstock, high RG differential to aid in traction through heavy oil and high RG asymmetric differential to quicken the response time to friction. Designed as a two-component elliptical core system, the MACE core is dynamically the strongest asymmetric core ever produced for a Brunswick ball.

The Evil Siege unites the Propel Pearl coverstock and the proven MACE core to produce a ball motion that is strong in the mid-land and aggressive on the backend. The Evil Siege is the ball when your game needs help battling medium to oily conditions and poor pin action.

The unique core shape of each Brunswick ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across the weight range. The same drilling instructions can be used for 12- and 13-pound balls. This is because Brunswick uses a generic core shape with an RG difference that is close enough to the 14-16 pound shape.

Brunswick C System 3.5 Bowling Ball Video- Bowlerstore.com

CFT 3.5 is the next evolution in Chemical Friction Technology. The CFT 3.5 coverstock has a higher friction factor than the original CFT 2.5, which quickens the response time, improves down lane traction and increases the overall hook.

The proven two-component asymmetrical I-Block core enhances the CFT 3.5 coverstock to create maximum forgiveness, strong entry angles along with versatile drilling layouts.

Ball Motion: With its 4000-grit micro pad finish, the C·(System) 3.5 offers a higher friction factor and increased response time to friction alternative than the original C·(System) 2.5. The new C·(System) 3.5 is best used on medium-oily to oily lane conditions when a quicker response motion is needed to increase entry angle to the pocket.

Reaction Setup: The C·(System) 3.5 can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for asymmetric bowling balls. Please visit www.brunswickbowling.com/drilling_information to view the drilling instructions for specific reaction characteristics and layout details.

Brunswick Diamonback Bowling Ball Reaction Video

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

The Brunswick Diamondback Bowling Ball is the first ball with Activator Solid coverstock available at the Advanced Performance price point. The original Activator coverstock used on the Diamondback is a proven formula that provides strong downlane recovery, longevity of ball reaction, and unprecedented durability with superior resistance to cracking. The Diamondback uses the proven Brunswick multi-sided Rocket™ core system, providing a low RG core that when combined with the original Activator coverstock produces a ball reaction that is unmatched at the Advanced Performance price point. Clean through the front with an aggressive move at the breakpoint, the Diamondback gives amazing bang for the buck. There isn’t another ball in this class that’s even close. With its 2,000 Siaair Micro Pad finish, the Diamondback will provide good length with a strong continuous backend reaction that matches up on medium to oily lane conditions for a wide range of bowling styles.

Brunswick Wild Card Bowling Ball Reaction Video

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

The Wild Card utilizes ConneXion coverstock known for its unbelievable traction response from foul line to head pin. The aggressive connection of the Wild Card to the lane surface inspires confidence in the ball reaction that allows bowlers to play the lanes the way they want to. The ultra low RG Paragon™ core was designed with two intentions. First, lower the RG to create a faster revving core that will provide improved mid-lane traction. And second, raise the RG differential to increase the track flare potential which will generate more overall hook with standard layouts and the use of interchangeable thumb sleeves. With its 2,000 Siaair Micro Pad finish, the Wild Card will provide good length with a strong continuous backend reaction that matches up on medium to oily lane conditions for a wide range of bowling styles.

Brunswick is proud to introduce the new C•(System) 2.5 bowling ball

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

After more than 18 months of research, development, and extensive lab and field tests, Brunswick is proud to introduce the new C•(System) 2.5 bowling ball, developed in close collaboration with Hall of Fame bowler Carmen Salvino. In addition to being a legendary bowler, Salvino conducts scientific research and holds multiple patents related to bowling ball design.

This new line of performance bowling balls features Chemical Friction Technology (CFT). As Salvino explains, “The coverstock was chemically designed to have shaped molecular structures that produce a high coefficient of friction. Because of the shape of the molecule, when the ball goes into rolling friction, which occurs at the back part of the lane, slippage is eliminated and the ball will give you maximum entry and carry. This is the advantage of chemical friction versus mechanical friction.

“The chemistry is versatile enough that even if sanded or polished, it will not change the shape of the molecule. That is the uniqueness of this chemistry.” The Chemical Friction Technology in the new C•(System) 2.5 is a difference you can feel!

Coverstock
CFT 2.5 – The chemistry was uniquely designed to have shaped molecular structures that produce a high coefficient of friction. Because of the shape of the molecule, when the ball goes into rolling friction, which occurs at the back part of the lane, slippage is eliminated and the ball will give you maximum entry and carry.

Core: I-Block
The new I-Block core was engineered specifically for the CFT 2.5 coverstock to create maximum forgiveness, strong entry angels along with versatile drilling layouts.

Reaction Characteristics

Ball Motion – With its 4000-grit micro pad finish, the C (System) 2.5 will provide good length with a strong continuous backend reaction that matches up on medium to oily lane conditions for a wide range of bowling styles.
